Very simple and very effective.
Bring up a picture of that special oneitis, stare into her eyes. Let out fart and keep looking at her she will become more disgusting by the second.
Do not pull your gaze away for aslong as you can withstand.
May need to repeat once more.
If you enjoy this you have problems.

Perhaps this is a joke, but most are really here for advice...not games!

This is not relevant to anything worth notice.

I will assume this was amusing to you.

For all of you that actually believe what this guy is saying: There is no magic cure. It's a process of life all of us have to go through.

*Getting rid of anything reminding of her
*Time

That's it. No magic pill.

Dont be so quick to dismiss.

The point here is taking her down off the pedestal and seeing her as just another girl and not something special.

One of the best ways to lose your admiration with something is to associate it with something disgusting. I.e. remember how you cant drink tequila anymore because of that night where you ended up covered in vomit etc etc You used to love it now it makes you nauseous.

Same principle applies here.

Yo mack 2.0 never said it was meant to be hilarious just a light farted, i mean hearted, and yes probably immature post. lol. No need for everybody to get so serious on me !

light hearted i'm sure, but not offensive and actually much more than a mere joke. Do a little googling on how to reduce the effects of bad memories. This is his personal version, but there are real therapies out there not a whole lot different than this.

Yes BrainFL2 you are right, this is actually a form of classical conditioning. Most people would know of Pavlov's experiments with dogs, food, bells etc. This is another example of that.

Classical conditioning involves two things. The first is a Neutral Stimulus which is anything that does not result in an overt behavioral response (ie. Picture of your oneitis). The second is an Unconditioned Stimulus (fart), which results in an Unconditioned Response such as the sick feeling you get from a bad smell (ie Gas).

Long story short when you see the picture of your beautiful oneitis and at the same time experience something unpleasant like a bad smell (unless you like the smell of your own brew, let's admit who doesn't?) you will begin to associate your oneitis with that unpleasant stimulus.

Eventually seeing the picture of your oneitis alone will be enough to make you feel unpleasant and that is known as the Conditioned Response.

AND WOLLA! cured!
