So i have been dating her for about a year now. About two weeks ago she broke it off with me because she had all this stress in her life and said that she couldn't get ride of her family but could get ride of me. I thought that was kinda jacked up. She called me two days later saying that she couldn't live and breath without me. Meanwhile, I was going through a hell of a time. I really do love this girl just don't completely trust her after that happened. During those 2 days she made arrangements to move across the country. I told her the relationship would be done if she left. Sorry babe, but there is no way to rebuild after what happened if you are 1000 miles away. So now she is stay here with me. My question is she is leaving for three weeks (1 week to a wedding and 2 weeks in Hawaii with her family) and wants me to watch her 5 dogs while she is gone. Part of me wants to help her and the other part of me is like, "what the hell do you think I am?". I guess I am afraid of turning into a door mat. Maybe I'm just being insecure or maybe my intuition is telling me something. What do you guys think? |

Just a quick point on something: There is absolutely nothing jacked up about her leaving you instead of her family. Family comes first for most people, and that's something to accept. I know personally that I would let no woman into my life, if it meant leaving my family for good. Now to the dog part. Are you guys in a relationship or not? I thought you said she broke it off. Anyways, if you are in a relationship with her and you love her: Of course you should watch her dogs while she's gone. You're her freaking boyfriend and you love taking care of her and helping out. If you're not in a relationship with her.... Then don't take care of her damn dogs. You got no reason to. |

Well also have that doubt if you are in relantionship or not, if you are i would say go ahead and treat the damn dogs if not lol go tell her to find another sucker. Please dont show to her you are insecure. |

yeah guys we are working things out, not dating yet but we will be. i do want to help her out. so i should bitch slap myself and watch the dogs. |

personally, i wouldn`t watch the dogs while she is away on vacation...if the roles were reversed, do you think she would watch your 5 dogs while you go on vacation with you family?..especially after a break up...i doubt it |
