We broke up twice. Then we kept hooking up. Then I told her to fuck off, literally, in a very mean way. I apologized. We established we couldn't be together, she re-iterated that after what I said she could never forget and be with me again blah blah blah. Then why the fuck is this girl still calling me at 3 a.m. Needless to say I didn't answer. Part of the reason I attempted to estrange her by telling her to get lost was so that she would leave me alone so I could just move on. what could this girl possibly want? we already established we wouldn't be hooking up anymore.. I just want to be left alone.. |

It's not important what she wants. It doesn't interest you because you've moved on. Just ignore every attempt she she uses to contact you. Optionally, tell her that she's becoming creepy and needs to stay away. And for god's sake, don't apologize after saying it. If she doesn't get it in the nice way, you gotta tell her in the mean way. |

Yeah my problem right now is one of moral standards. My ex has mental health issues and more importantly severe self-esteem issues. When I told her to get lost, I exacerbated them. What I'm getting at is this girl kinda has nothing outside of me and her family who live a few hours a way, and a few less than stellar friends. I feel that even though we're broken up and I'm trying to move on, if she needs something I should be there ...but then again. |

You're making it sound as if she has absolutely nobody else to lean on when she needs to. No, she is not your concern anymore. And by being there for her, you are only extending her pain throughout a longer period. |
