Post subject:  Jealousy? Is there a healthy amount?

In my last relationship, I was notoriously unable to be made jealous by my gf. I don't know if she actively tried, but she did ask a few times if I was (playfully I guess). I always said no. Even if I was slightly jealous inside, I wouldn't say it simply because it didn't really register on the scale.

Is this right? I'm a pretty laid back guy, I like to let the girl breathe, but I think sometimes I do so too much to a point where she thinks I might not care. I don't know if I should get jealous about things or not. Is it all or nothing, or is there a healthy amount?

There is a healthy amount of affection and yes some women can look for that affection in different ways. However, if you're not the kind of guy who really gets jealous and she's trying to make you that maybe she's just testing the waters to see if you really care. You can show your feelings without acting out. Being a "Pickup Artist" at its base level doesn't really have much of a place in a relationship. The principals of course do but those games we play don't measure up after you've already picked the girl up. Most schools of pickup after all focus on getting past that bullshit superficial layer which we all share as do our female counterparts. It's ok to let it go as long as you made yourself into who you wanted to be versus playing the facade. If her actions aren't alright with you tell her so, just don't act controlling versus understanding why she does the things she does.
