First of all, why are you breaking up with her? Just be honest but in a nice way. It also depends on how long you have been together. I would suggest doing it face to face as opposed to on the phone or via text message. |

Ok, now I see this more clearly. Sit down with her at a public place. Tell her how much you've enjoyed the relationship - but that it's not working out. Obviously, she will start asking questions now such as "Why? What have I doen wrong? Can we work this out?" etc etc. This is where you are honest with her and calmly explain the reasons for why you can't be together (your reasons are hopefully legit). You need to make sure that she UNDERSTANDS WHY you're breaking up with her. When you've made your point and she got the message - ask her not to contact you at all because it's gonna make things harder. Note: She WILL hate you, she WILL be so angry, she will do ANYTHING to grab your attention and change your mind. This is why you've chosen a public place, to avoid too much drama... Such as crying really loud, yelling at you, throwing shit at you (been there, done that...) and saying things that she doesn't mean. When she starts doing ANY of that shit - you've reached your goal. This is when she knows you're for real and there is no fixing in this. The truth hurts the most. This is her way of expressing it. So, when she reacts this way: Walk away.... And don't look back. Trust me on this one. I've broken a lot of hearts and I've experimented with different breakups. This is, guaranteed, the best way of doing it (in my opinion). |
