Right so I've been dating this girl for around a month now. When were are alone at her house or mine everything is fine kino, kissing etc.. Basically the problem is that when were together in a public place she doesn't want to do much kino let alone kiss. She is a shy girl but still its frustrating. Any help? |

she's just shy, unfortunately not everyone is comfortable with PDA, my current girlfriend isn't comfortable with kissing in public but there's enough kino. while it can be slightly annoying it's not really a massive problem, just relax when you're out, expect nothing and wait until you get home  definitely not something worth pressuring her over |

yeah but the problem is is that she isn't shy in general its just when I try to initiate kino in public that she gets reserved about it. |

I wouldn't worry about it. Everyone is different and has different likes/dislikes. If she doesn't like PDA there is nothing you can do to change it short of getting a different girlfriend. |

Your problem sounds alot like mine about a year ago. My gf was a very shy self self conscious person and as much as I know she cared about me it pissed me off that she didnt show any pda at all! So what did I do? I took small steps and gained her trust...it took me about 6 months before she would show any pda but now almost a year later she grabs my hand, kisses me, and she initiates it. It takes time man...as close as you feel to her now wait 6 month or even a year and you will feel 10 times closer to her! and she will too...as you become a stronger couple, get to know more about each other ect ect she will start to loosen up. Dont take it personally she either has dated some ass holes in her time or she was perhaps not raised to show that kinda of affection. My gf had a poor relationship with her father and the last 4 bf's before me treated her like shit so she didnt trust guys. |

Hey,Im not gonna be as passive as the other posters. listen,what the F are you doing holding hands in public for!!?What's your aim??? You've just started dating this girl.It aint that serious!!Only dating,meaning she could be dating or screwing other guys.Yall are not exclusive!!! Fucc PDA if its not for the purpose of kino and to treat her like your little sister and mush her and push her off!But I get the sense that you use PDA out of neediness and wantingness.Wanting to get in with this chicc when she isn't on mutual planes. Screw PDA unless she's your GF.Yall are just dating and I can gurantee the other men she's dating aren't PDAing!!! |

Hey, sorry I didn't make it clear but we are exclusive. But I understand were you are coming from if we were not exclusive.

My bad Arsenal.Then I take everything back(lol). Good that you clarified the status.PDA is all good in my perspective once she's your gf. If yall were just dating,PDA without a purpose would've been needy. |

Okay, maybe I'm going a bit more extreme than I actually am. But its true, I don't like PDA. Everyone has personal preferences. Instead of taking it personally or a blow to your ego like it seems you are, how about respect that difference. Have you even talked to her about this? And if your so mad at this, don't date shy girls. Your creating the problem, even if your mind tries to blame it on her not doing PDA. |

Me too man, I have been with this girl for a while now and she is the self-concous type, is never, and I mean never into PDA like kissing but we do hold hands often, I feel that alot of us nice guys struggle with this kind of thing. |

Yeah i had this problem a couple weeks back but seriously read the answers in this thread there is some real good advice there. Some girls just don't like PDA, there is not much you can do about it. I realised it really isn't a bid deal anyway so try and not let it bother you. |

I'm basically repeating what most people said here, but yeah, some girls aren't into PDA, and some are into it way too much! My latest ex-girlfriend is a girl who doesn't like PDA, she would touch my arm while dancing and look at me really sweet, but if i wanted to kiss her she would turn her head and it landed on her cheek lol. But then when I told her "So you're not even gonna kiss your boyfriend in public? you wuss" she would always kiss me back, albeit shortly. |
