You should be able to do it. I knew a young guy who had a bad leg and he got this wicked looking cane, made it part of his style, he was awesome. Like some sort of modern "gentleman" character from the past. He had long blonde hair and a suit, and the cane had a fancy dragon handle.I think your new plan is perfect. I actually found myself bringing up your situation (with this girl and her ex) in conversation with my bros cause we talk about this stuff all the time, and to them it was cut and dry - they pretty much said what you said. And as you already know from my PM, that's more or less what I'd do too.
