Ok so my boyfriend took me to this amazingly expensive restaurant which I have always wanted to go to. All night he was being amazing and acting like he was leading up to a proposal. I felt like he wanted to propose but he didn't. And now I'm wondering why. Why did he take me to this restaurant for no reason? Or was he going to propose but chickened out? I'm so confused and because of that I have started acting distant towards him but I don't think he knows why. Help?! |

This is what happens when you build your expectations up so high for something that has no actual evidence of happening. Did you ever think maybe your boyfriend just genuinely wanted to take you somewhere he knew you'd enjoy and that he was treating you fantastically because, gee I dunno, he loves you?
