| Post subject: | Over-affectionate boyfriend... |
I wondering if anyone knows why my boyfriend has suddenly become overly affectionate. It's like he can't bear to leave me untouched by him at all times. Even when I'm in the middle of doing something he will be cuddling me or kissing me somewhere. It's weird because the first few months of our relationship I was always more affectionate than he was. He is getting really jealous really easily as well when he never seemed to before. Maybe he is just comfortable with me? Or feeling insecure? I don't kno... Any ideas? |

Could be... He's more comfortable with you.. Is becoming more invested in you... Cheated or did a form of it and feels guilty.. Tried to get with other chicks and gets rejected, and cherishes you for being with him Feels guilty that he wasn't very affectionate earlier in the relationship.. You've become higher in his priorities... You've become someone he wants to be be emotionally involved in.. You gained 10 pounds and it all went to perfect your voluptuous ass.. He lost some of his friends so his social circle is slimming down, and therefore you are a bigger part of it... those might be some reasons. |

It's hard to say. The few options running in my head are vague at best. Firstly, it could be possible, he's starting to feel guilty for not being affectionate from the beginning, as is trying to make up for lost times. Second option, still associated with guilt, is that your boyfriend may have done something wrong and is trying to prove to you and himself that his feelings for you are more than superficial. Third option, nothing to do with guilt. Something has triggered in his brain; a phrase, an action something, causing him to imagine you're leaving or some sort of major change is about to occur in his life. The best and most practical solution to this dilemma, is to initiate a meeting with him. Let him know that, although you do care for him, you are feeling a bit smothered at the moment. Please have this honest meeting with him. I've known too many girls who keep that sort of thing bottled up and it ends up sabotouging their whole relationship. |

These are great guesses, I would lean more towards the first 2. |

This is simple...men and women are very diffrent! men for the most part mean what they say and this is why he is acting like he is. Simply put he is falling in love with you....its a good thing lol If you want to keep a good guy then stick with him because I can bet any money he is head over heals for you...or go find an ass hole whole ignores you and trast you like shit lol |

Since men for the most part mean what they say, females are then compulsive liars. Your boyfriend instinctually knows this, so by you being affectionate towards him in the beginning(which was full of shit), he's implementing his unconquerable truthfulness imprinted in his genes, to make up for your lies and deceit. Or not. Both men and women don't always mean what they say, or do what they mean. I'd disregard darkone's advice, although optimistic and i certainly hope is the case, don't put all your faith in the best possible outcome. I'd say keep on your toes and be open to all good or bad possibilities. |

Its ok to disagree with me but has she ever thought that mabey he is just a really good guy who wants to treat her well? Usually an ass hole will treat you like shit its just what they do....and a good guy will treat you well and show you he loves you. The problem is most women identify this as afc and dump them. Why? because there is no longer a challenge...and what will they do? fall back into the arms of an ass hole. Or not. Both men and women don't always mean what they say, or do what they mean. I'd disregard darkone's advice, although optimistic and i certainly hope is the case, don't put all your faith in the best possible outcome. I'd say keep on your toes and be open to all good or bad possibilities. Could it be for another reason? yes...but I dout it is. The reason you dont understand is because women dont think like men and this is a clear indicator of that lol she basicaly asked "he treats me well and always wants to be around me?" women dont respond to this kind of stuff because they dont understand that it means he really like you! lol and chances are she will end up leaving a really good guy because of it...its also why men come to sites like this because they have had their heart broken by a cold women lol |

Wow thanks for all that guys!! I'm not going to leave him- I love him and I really feel I could spend the rest of my life with him. . I was just wondering what it could be. I really hope it's not that he has cheated because that would be a painful circumstance for me and I wouldn't be able to stay with him. Thanks for the advice!! |
