I have been with my girl since Dec. 2007. She is an Aupair girl from Spain (live in baby sitter) She has one year left on her visa before she has to go home. We talk about getting married so she can stay but at the same time don't want to get married for just that reason. I love this girl, she is a cool, fun, smart girl ect... I am considering marrying her but am scared that things are going to change drastically when we do get married. The situation now is: It is just her and I cause she doesn't have any other friends. I do worry about being a boring boyfriend cause I am tired all the time from my work in construction and training in BJJ and Kickboxing requires alot of physical energy. We spend most of the weekends together and at least 2-3 days during the week together. Not sure what I am asking for. This is just an issue that weighs on my mind everyday. Being a potential husband within a year, keeping her from getting bored, and not getting jealouse over anyother guy she is in contact with. Thanks |

Dont get married just because she is leaving...get married because you love her and because you want to spend the rest of your life with her? If you dont then dont get married. |

Depend on your ages and which country you are in. If you are in your 20s still, I'd be cautious about marriage as there is still plenty of time to go. Why not visit her at home for a while, take a holiday and see if it still works. The change of scenery and her family back in the life (assuming she will go back to her family/friends) might enable you to see another side of her and vice versa. If you pass that test, you'll have a stronger relationship. |
