Okay, I dated this girl a while back that had to be the most manipulative girl ever. She was so good at it, it seriously turns my stomach to think about being where I was again. She was quite a player and ran me through the ringer until I cut it loose. I think she was really surprised when I just walked and she saw me with another girl and then another and another right after. I guess she figured she could string me along, and she was able to for awhile. But that was me being hopeful that things would change. A word to the wise, PEOPLE DONT CHANGE! Anyways, she recently came back and said things would be different and wants me back blah blah but of course thats all bullshit and just a case of the 'want what you cant haves'. (see comment above) Well I had a friend in town this weekend hanging out and he seems to be in very similar situation. Hot girl, hot mess, pain in the ass, messin with his head, and he is head over heels for her. You just cant tell someone to get out of a situation like that. God knows that I wasnt going to get out of mine until I had enough. Even now I still have a soft spot for that girl that made me so miserable, I even catch myself considering getting back together with her sometimes. I just found out she is dating someone else so thats good. Lets see if she has really changed in a few months with him. Anyways, not sure what I wanted to say about this except that there are sometimes that we end up in really bad situations, but like the saying goes, 'love is blind.' Turns out, love is pretty dumb and even masochistic sometimes too. So to all of you out there, do what makes you happy. And if what makes you happy doesnt want you to be happy, tell it to go fuck itself. (props to Salomon for that tidbit of advice) |
