So basically she found out I have porn on my computer, expressed that she didn't like me watching it and I promised to delete it and she compromised that I could watch a tiny bit when we are separated (We are in a long distance relationship). One time I'm visiting her, we got into an argument and went back to her place and didn't talk to each other for hours. During this time, I was cooling down, and later, I decided to watch porn (I don't know why but biggest mistake of my life)...because she comes into the room wanting to make up with me and catches me. So now, she feels distant from me because I had broken my promise and scarred her having caught that image of me. I feel incredibly ashamed and regretful, but I really don't know what to do to make it up to her. It's not as simple as a gift/dinner/apology etc. I've tried to carry on like we could get over it, but every time she leads the conversation into "you don't treasure me anymore now that you have me", "why do guys always fantasize about porn girls", "do you even want me anymore, I'm sorry I'm not sexy enough for you"... Sorry for the long post...I just feel completely lost as to how I should save this relationship. (I won't accept answers like forget her, plenty of hot girls out there) |

she compromised that I could watch a tiny bit when we are separated I'm sorry bro, but it seems like she is giving you 'permission' to view porn? I know you are in a relationship and emotions are running high, but come on man, NOBODY should have to 'let' you do anything. |

Hahaha, you're letting your girlfriend ALLOW you to watch porn? Man up, tell her you can do what you want in your own time. Its not like you're out cheating on her, its completely different and she knows that. She's just trying to find a way to control you, and is succeeding. Next time she brings it up just tell her to shut up already and get over it. And go ahead and watch porn. I have plenty of porn on my computer, every now and then my girl and I get together and watch some  .

I'm going to have to second this... that's a bit ridiculous that she is giving you permission to watch porn. You can make decisions for yourself and you don't need someone to monitor what you do in your spare time.

Partly, this is a problem with a badly framed request. I dated a girl who, early on in the relationship, grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and told me that I could watch porn if I wanted to, but why would I bother, when I could think about her lithe, naked self? I mean, I knew, intellectually that she really wasn't okay with me masturbating to porn, even though she said she was, but after THAT, she was right, I didn't WANT to. |
