I met this girl at a party and we clicked really well, we hooked up and then met up a couple other times. I was a little drunk and thought it would be a good idea to ask her to be my girlfriend and thought that's what I wanted. Well now I am seriously regretting it. I now realize that I love being single and on my own, and it sucks being tied down. We haven't had sex yet, and I feel that when we do (prob soon) it'll be too late to end the relationship and i'll be stuck. We've only been going out for 3 days so the relationship hasn't really formed and I think ending it now will be best. I know everyone says don't do it by text but i'm a pussy and she's the nicest girl i've ever met, i dont know if i could do it in person. Any advice on what to say/do? |

Dude, why are you so filled with guilt about breaking up? Ask youself that. You've got to get way past that. Even if you slept with her, why would that change anything? Get over the guilt. It's very normal for people to go out, even sleep together, and then break up. If you can get that point, the next step is to tell her, in person, exactly what you wrote above. It's not a neg on her t all, you just don't want a girlfriend. Having any level of success with women takes some skills. One of them is being able to speak your mind and breaking up without turning it into a big dramatic affair. Good luck man. |
