Post subject:  Girls using "push-pull"

I saw a little blurb of something like this in another post and it stood out to me because i am currently experiencing it.

My girlfriend and other girls using "push-pull" like techniques. Im not saying they plan on it or anything or even do it on purpose but it does happen. One moment she is all sweet and nice the next she seems distant and quick and blunt. I hate the emotional changes this brings and I would like your guys help and advice on dealing with it. I usually just ignore it and keep going like normal and try and block it out of my head but it still gets on my nerves. "I miss youuu!!! I want you!! <3" to "Sure, why not." this is an example of the contrast i am talking about.

Thanks for the advice and help!

May not represent push pull, so much as it does the emotions she happens to be feeling and acting out of at that moment.

Good insight. Now would it be to mushy to send her some reassuring texts for instance? What are some good ways to deal with these situations?

How long have you been with this girl, has it always been this way? It could be push-pull, or instability. Girls enjoy a little drama, but to blurt out what she's feeling...intimate one minute then cold the next? Makes me wonder...

we have been together about 5 months. It just started a month or two ago heavier and hasnt been this noticeable till now but was happening earlier a fair amount less though. I have been working on it lately and am leaning towards stuff that is happening in her social circle carrying over towards our relationship making her a bit more irritable.
