let's say your girlfriend has a class with a guy who all the girls think is a stud. what if you found out that your girlfriend had a small crush on the guy and she thought that he was really good looking. how would you feel? and just for the record, i'm not going through this haha. i'm single but i was just curious. how would you guys handle it? |

sounds like im a lot older than you... i dont care. in fact, when i have been in relationships i expect it. cool guys, good looking guys, funny guys are only a threat if you think they have smething you dont. there will be lots of hot guys and girls who are "great" in someway. they cant bother you. in my relationships, i bring the "hot" feeling i get when im around ht women back home. its all good baby. if your relationship is a good one, there is no space for another. . . but if something is wrong, any old guy can come in and take her away. good relationships are solid... |

The way I look at it is this...if she is comfortable enough with you to admit that another guy is sexy, then you have nothing else to worry about. Other people dont stop being sexy just because you're dating someone. It's one thing to say wow, that guy is sexy, it's another to go up and talk to him. Knowhatimsayin. |

yea, I agree. You find many women attractive, as she finds many men attractive. If she is talking about it, then things are either really really bad, or really really good (most likely the case) and she is just comfortable talking to you, since you are her friend. The other person's looks have no bearing on all of her attraction switches--just the visually stimulating ones. If you want to play around with things and see how true this is, next time the two of you go out, point out girls you find attractive, note their looks....spark a little jealousy, but then turn it into a discussion of appearance. i.e. she is really attractive, this is why...and then say this is why not. and turn it around and have her do the same with a guy. |

If theres potential for her to pursue her interest in a guy, then it is most definitely not the same as an attraction to someone unattainable such as a celebrity. My "girlfriend" told me she thought this fucking guy is sexy, and it bothered me to an extent, but i chose to show now jealousy. Then it got brought up while we were joking around with each other and she played out the scenario where hes doin her doggy style on his couch, "just kidding", followed by her whispering "i prolly would though". That shit pissed me off so I retaliated with a jealousy inducer of my own. Well then I come to find that she has been hangin with the fucking guy but its her cousin thats trying to get with him, but I am still fucking pissed and don't i have a right to be? |

yeah that does suck Xecutioner. My girlfriend frequently points out movie stars/rock stars that she thinks are hot. It doesn't really bother me but it would be nice to have some kind of reply to it. Does anyone have any good ones? I'm just not really sure how to respond to something like that.

I didn't read all the posts, but it seems that most would agree. If anything i ask my GF who she thinks is hot, just i think it's interesting. The only way jealousy comes about is if you think they have more value than you, and that's not my issue. I have gotten jealous maybe once or twice, but that was b/c the dude was alpha as fuck. |

as a girl, i have come up with a useful analogy for this. even among girls, pointing out when a guy is hot or cute or whatever can be viewed as 'oh you want him if you think he's hot!' which, of course, is ridiculous. guys (i suppose you could turn it around for guys and say girls...) are like houses. you can appreciate the architecture of a house without living there or even wanting to live there. besides, it may be pretty on the outside, but could be a real wreck on the inside that needs work, right?  as to a good reply, i'd go with just making a conversation about it. treat it like an art piece or a pair of shoes. ie: girl: wow, that guy is so hot! you (options) -yep, i'd tap that. *funny look from girl* -eh, he's ok. his jaw is too square. or just ignore it and move on. it's just an observation. |

honestly.. this shit used to piss me off with any and every girl i was with..... i used to give her the hardest time and one girl i just left her, saying "fuk it then.. good luck being witht he fukcer from prison break... shaved head. and he looks like every fukn guy. but watever.." till eventually i came to a realization... and remember this.. cuz its real.. ANY person.. guy or girl. that WANTS to cheat.. .. WILL cheat.... you can postpone it by caging them... and watching them.. but it will lead to the relationship destruction. which isnt what you want anyways...... people will cheat... regarless... dont get me wrong.. they wont if they are in that mindset.. which is great.. thats wat u want. but the bottom line is... if she finds dickhead from prison break attractive.. great.... it doesnt mean she wants to fuck him.. and even if she does. it doesnt mean she would.. and if she would.. then. dont settle for that shit anyways... that being said. there is a point in time where it gets to be RUDE if the chick is pointing out guys at the mall she'd fuk... cuz then id get pissed.... i havent had a chick that'd do that. but if so.. id definately drop her... imagine you sayin that about ev chick in the mall.. shed clam up and be unlockabale for a week.. so don't stand for it.. use ur judgement.. the harmlessness . is that.. .. if shes intersted in others.. than thats something else... which may start by "i think so and so is hot.. and .." then u might have a prob |
