I wonder if such a thing exists between male friends. I know men are no where near as catty as women, bu still.

I have a friend who, for a while, used to compare her boyfriend vs mine. And it was mostly along the lines of, well, my boyfriend is better than yours because of x, y and z. She would also say how her boyfriend would never date a woman like me, how I'm this and that, and how he's so not into such type of women.

Now, I found this so damn odd because a. he's dating her, what the hell do I have anything to do with their relationship, b. I never even gave 2 hoots about her boyfriend, nor did I find him attractive in any way, and c. I never compared her men to mine, so why the weird comments?

Why is everyone dating or friends with idiots and then trying to figure them out?

I know guys who brag about their car or always lie about some model chick they banged last weekend.
