Girlfriend meeting up with another guy

Hey!

I'll try to keep this short.

Me and my gf have been together for about 3 months, but been in constant contact for about 5 months now.

She met a guy on an online website about 2-3 years ago and he's from another country; they're texting over facebook very often.
After all this time he's coming here for a vacation and my gf decided that she'll go and meet him.

He's coming to another city in my country, so my gf will need to travel approx. 600 km and then rent a hostel in that city for about 3 days (and it's not cheap + travel expenses) just to meet him.

I'm a bit uncomfortable with that, am I crazy or? What should I do? I honestly don't know what to think of it or how to set myself about that. It's bothering me.

It is okay for her to meet someone.

Travelling so far and staying in a hostel with him is definately not something i would tolerate. Clear red flag.

I swear it's not a troll lol. Did I say something wrong? Or what made you think it was? I would love that it is a troll but unfortunately it's not.

I'm new here, sorry for no introduction. Will do that in a couple of days when I catch more free time.

Also for the that one post above; I'm aware that couples can meet up with male/female friends but this just seems a bit fukd up, maybe I'm overreacting?

Why is she spending so much money on this trip? Is it possible she can talk the guy into sharing a room with her? It'll cut the costs.
