Post subject:  "Can I call you later to talk?" Oh boy.
I always laughed at those "We need to talk" questions. But I find myself in a similar situation and am doing mental gymnastics right now. It's been about a month. We slept together last night and had great sex... This is a bit of a shocker.

She hit me up a few hours ago:

Her: "Hey, can I call you later tonight to talk?"

Me: "Heya. Yeah -- everything good?"

Her: "Yeah, everything is gravy. Just wanted to talk to you about intimacy, if that's okay."

Me: "Of course it's okay. Let me know when you're home and we'll talk."

What does this look like to you guys? It's been a few hours since that exchange, and the suspense is getting to me. I want to believe that "everything is gravy," but I question the communication. Why not just tell me over text, or call me immediately? Why the ambiguity?
