Post subject:  how long does one wait
for sex in a committed relationship?

i have been seeing a girl for one month exclusively and she is not letting me touch her sexually. She kisses me like she is kissing a family member. There is no agreement in life on when a person should share themselves that way or not. Since she is not saying, I am thrown to concluding that :

1. she saving herself for marriage
2. she is just not attracted to me
3. she is giving it up to someone else or wants someone else
4. she has some health issue she is embarrassed to divulge
5. she is gay
6 she is just not into sex now or ever.

She has not communicated any of the above. She just comes to bed in her street clothes and declines any and all sexual advances. I like her and am unsure what do do with my expectations. Sex is not everything but it is pretty damn important in my books and I see no point being monogamous or faithful if this is to continue let alone staying in this relationship. I am giving myself 7 more days to call it.

She is a strange creature mind you. She drinks 3-5 tall energy drinks a day, borderline alcoholic, binge eats or starves, people in her family were meth and crack addicts, she has no interest in sleep and is both honest and totally dishonest at the same time.

The fact that she isn't talking to you about her reasoning behind not having sex with you even though you told her that she has seven days is pretty messed up. She is basically telling you that she's not having sex with you and you don't deserve an explanation. To stick with a woman that uncaring about how you feel says a lot about what you are willing to take from a woman. Giving her seven days is delaying the inevitable. You could be going out tonight and meeting another girl that will have sex with you.

Psychology of evil: Start introducing her publicly as your buddy.

Either she'll end-up giving it up, or moving on. Either way it's a win/win seeing as sex is quite important to you at this point in the relationship.

Thank-you - it is always GREAT to hear another guys take on these these things. Man, I knew her for 11 years before we endeavoured to date and do this. I felt generous about not calling it sooner for that reason. but you are bang on.

Yes. I have waited exactly as long as I wanted to. 7 more days is the end unless some news comes to light where it turns out she has something going on beyond her control. But I am not expecting that.

Unless you're fucking up, it should never take you more than about 5 dates. 3 if you know what you're doing.

Actually, we had sex twice right at the beginning a month ago but it was weird short and I just have nothing good to say about it, never experienced a girl I could not read like this one. So eccentric. I like that type but this one is more eccentric than I am use to. We also had sex 11 years ago when we first met but went on to see other people. I cannot claim to have any prowess at all. Anything I have learned and applied I picked up on these PUA sites over the years. I was a poster-child for doormats most of my teen and young adult life. I am light years away from the polite nice friendly beggar I was then.

I am going to work at explaining it and justifying it and figuring it out the potentially pathetic garden variety mystery of this for 7 more days. I am willing to accept the consequences of this situation for 7 more days. She is a great gal in so many ways but I am not wasting any more time on it if it is not cracked to my satisfaction by then.
