Post subject:  Is my GF serious?? Or was it really a joke?
I don't if my GF was serious or not

we had a phone call yesterday, and I let her know that I got her a minion

she then goes "Is that to try and stop me from breaking up with you?"

... I said "No" and she went "I'm only joking"

I don't know what to think.

The thing that's bothering me the most is that before she even "joked" about the breaking up part this happened:


Me " Do you want the 2 weeks of space? "

Her "Why? I've missed you"



Why would she say she 'missed' me, but then joke of a break up??

You know your girlfriend, none of us do and that makes it nearly impossible for us to give you anything more than a guess. But if you want to look at it logically, you made a minion comment that sounds like a joke...so why wouldn't she follow up with a joke?

Why would you even ask her this? Were you fighting to begin with?

I feel like you're leaving something out.

Regardless, I'd say her line was something to do with that silly question about the 2 weeks of space... and that it was probably just a joke and you're stressing out about nothing.
