Post subject:  fixing the relationship

so im gonna make this short. i've been dating this girl for 3 years. i was controlling it until she tested me really bad. she was drunk and had some family problems. she said things like, you should be here for me. i cant take this anymore etc. she was just missing me a lot because we had a distance relationship and i was hearing her complaining every day about things in her life. i was there for her but maybe i could have done better.

anyways this was through texting. and my reply was. dont think you can sit there texting me drunk and threaten me. saying that i dont care when ive always been there for you. "she sounded like she wanted to break up". so i said. if you continue to make threats i will not talk to you. if you want to break up then do it. stop implying that you will.

her reply was "what"?. basically she didnt want that. she never mentioned it. she was just saying i cant take this anymore, youre not here for me etc. she also said she wasnt drunk but she was. and she admitted it during the conversation and appologized.

the bad thing here is that i started to put her above me. and now i can really feel it. i just dont know how to go back and create some excitement without ruining it and become a complete different person.

any tips? push and pull?

Pull back a bit while remaining there for her (she's your long-term girlfriend, you're not gaming her anymore, dude)...

i wouldnt say that ive ever gamed her. i think i did what i thought was right and not something someone else told me to do, or something ive read somewhere. but i get your point.
