I had a one night stand with a fat chick last night, and like all other fat chicks I've banged she has a really fun, caring personality. I can't get the idea out of my head that, if she just weren't so fat she would be an amazing catch. She just needs to lose like.... i dunno, 50 pounds? I'm thinking of calling her up and telling her exactly how I feel: Lose some weight or I'm not going to stick around (but I'm willing to help her and even go to the gym with her). Does anybody have any success converting fat chicks into dating material? How hard is it? Is it better to just ignore her "hey how was work" text and just find somebody already skinny? |

I have no experience in this matter so I can't help you with this. However, I'm posting because this is a very interesting topic... Please tell us every detail in this thread as you proceed with this goal! |

I can't imagine that will work. That said - I'd LOVE to see you try. Literally. Please try. Please. |

I'm in the same boat as the other posters. Never tried anything like this. In general, and I know this from personal experience, people aren't going to start working out and taking care of there bodies until they have an inner reason to do so. But there's no reason not to try I guess, lol. |

I admire the goal, former fatties are excellence.... When women lose weight, they don’t seem to forget the sexual prowess they developed when they were chubby. |

Dude, you're gonna destroy this girl's self-esteem. She already knows she's fat. She doesn't need someone telling her, especially a guy she just fucked. I guess you could keep her phone number, stick around, and when she decides to start taking care of her health then it'll be your chance. |

Please do it. I as well would like to see the feedback. Deliver it nicely though because this is serious self-esteem nuclear warfare. |

An overweight woman might have health issues or might get health issues soon. You can open a conversation about health and the modern unhealthy lifestyle that people have nowadays. Does anybody have any success converting fat chicks into dating material? How hard is it? Is it better to just ignore her "hey how was work" text and just find somebody already skinny? She will open up and talk to you. If she has a health issue she will mention it ( thyroid, PCOS etc) and she will express her insecurities and concern. It is that moment as "a hero " you can offer to go to the gym with her to support her and you two can make an agreement to eat healthy. If on the other hand she says something along the lines that she is happy with who she is and that she no longer cares about her appearance, there is little you can do. |

agree with maria. If she does not have complex regarding her body, if she is happy about her looks, there is really nothing you can do. It might be a good thing (her self confidence) If she does not like her, it is not that difficult to help her. But you have to communicate it to her thorough her own world - "how do you feel about yourself?", "i really hate that you don't have any self confidence", "go to gym and get some confidence there, so YOU feel better". Even though it might be a little dishonest, never mention that you don't like her looks. It's nasty and you know it. Re: health issues, i call it kind of bullshit, thyroid and other hormonal issues can definitely be the cause and often is, but the root cause is always in her rands. My gf has been through that and while her thyroid was an huge issue she got some weight, but it was too co-related with amount of food she was eating (she had this i-will-eat-everything-when-i-am-stressed thing). The weight did not drop magically when she had thyroid surgery either. But again it was easy as it was a huge self confidence issue for her, I didn't really have a problem with it. She is somewhat avoiding junk in her diet and working out. Will see how it goes |

Health issue is not always bs. I was always healthy to skinny built without being on a diet my whole life. However, due to some circumstances my cortisol levels increased and no matter how much I was dieting and exercising, I was keep putting on weight. I was 20 kilos overweight. Then I started relaxing, having less stress and the weight dropped without doing an effort. And it was not a proper health issue. Cortisol increases due to stress. Also if she has polycystic ovarian syndrome, every kilo that is above the normal weight contributes into increasing it even more. It is a vicious cycle. |

Do you exercise/go to the gym? If so tell her you want to be healthier and that you want her to be a part of the journey. So when she eats healthier and exercises she'll lose weight and her friends/family will love you because you're a good influence on her life. And if she's a decent girl she'll love you for it also. Though I have seen some women lose weight and go bat-shit crazy off the attention and want to be single. |

Sorry but all of that is BS. The only thing that makes you get fat is food. Whatever else is happening in your body, if you aren't shoving the food in, you won't be packing on pounds unless you have edema.

Stress leads to eating more food to compensate. If you are not aware, that leads to weight gain. On the contrary, stress leads to weight loss if you eat like a normal person as body is much more charged and expending more energy. Personal experience.
