I want to know how to respond to this long "gooshy" text message that my girl sent. Been with her for a little more than a month. "I easily feel akward about gay things I say too. but man we're allowed to. I just feel like losing you would beak me down and even when we're doing nothing I feel like I want to do this for the rest of my life. I was never that romantic, but now those words go around in my head. I have no idea what you did to me, but it feels good as fuck. My elephant brain is still repeating things you said on our first date and I don't want to be one of those girls, I want to be more than that. That was probably too much and I'm already feeling lame, but I told you to be honest and that's what I am." We are always honest with each other. I had a problem in the past of being too much of a Mr. Nice guy so I don't want to convey that message. This message is from last night and I haven't responded to it. What would you guys do? |

Update on this. I forgot to respond to her long message (from the first post) because I was busy and forgot about it, but that has lead to an interesting response from her. "How would you feel if you tell me about pretty deep feelings of you for me and you just don't get an answer or anything. Mad is probably the wrong word, maybe dissappointed, but well that brings me back to I like you more than you like me. Actually you shouldn't love or like or whatever to get it in return, but its a part of things working out, and no answer to that juts left a uncomfortable feeling in me." Is that a cry for attention or partly legitimate? What would you doods do? |

Firstly - you've been with the girl a month and she sounds clingy as fuck. Secondly - you need to respond SOMETHING to a message like that. That's sort of like (this is just an analogy) her saying "I love you" and you saying nothing at all. As sappy and stalker-creepy as her message appears to be (to me, anyway), the girl put herself the fuck out there... you can't ignore that shit. |
