| Post subject: | Me again wanting more relationship advice! |
So I have been dating this girl for 4 months but I have known her for almost a year. First month was great going out, getting to know eachother and so on. second month I had stopped working and didn't have much money so we weren't going out as much third month was just her coming over and leaving in the mornings barely going out at all and 4th month she tells me that I am extremely boring because all i want to do is stay in. and well we spoke yesterday and she says that she just wants to be friends and that I am not the same guy I used to be, Do women not understand when people are stressed because of other life problems and its just a temporary phase or are you always meant to go on amazing dates? I am so stressed trying to look for work, trying to pay bills, and get my life back on track. and now this? I kind of feel like I might be better of without her! it gives me time to reflect and sort my life out. I genuinely have and amazing time with her and really like her. Am i always meant to be mr Fun? |

From what you've said it sounds like you'd be better off without her. It doesn't sound like she can support you emotionally when you are at a low. You should support each other in a relationship, doesn't sound like she can support you.

I completely understand that you're having a rough go of it - and I'm sorry about that. Best of luck to you... Now - playing devil's advocate for this girl ---- She's been with you for 4 months! You're not committed to this girl. You really can't expect someone who's not that emotionally invested in you (and how could she be after only 4 months) to be your support system. Maybe she's just not down for that... and you'll have to accept that and find someone else. Like the previous poster said - maybe you're better off without her while you get your life back on track. |

Completely agree with the post. Maybe letting her know you are willing to walk away from this might bring her in closer, as you are showing her you aren't needy.
She's been with you for 4 months! You're not committed to this girl. You really can't expect someone who's not that emotionally invested in you (and how could she be after only 4 months) to be your support system. Maybe she's just not down for that... and you'll have to accept that and find someone else. Like the previous poster said - maybe you're better off without her while you get your life back on track. |

Unfortunately I hate to admit it but you guys are right and I will have to let go of this one in order to sort out my life. |

I think I'm doing something seriously wrong here this is the third girl in a year that has told me that she doesn't feel the same anymore after the 3month marker. I just get comfortable real quick and fall back into my old habbits really quickly. I read the materials I understand them, I apply them and when it works and I get the girl I just get back into my old habbits which girls find unattractive. Any way I can make the changes permanent? |
