Post subject:  Get gf to move out

Hi guys
Need Some help with a situation.

I need my girlfriend to move out.

We are both in our early twenties, currently living in my parents house.

We she moved in it was supposed to only be temporary, till she got her own apartment, however a year has passed and she still lives here.
I don't want break up, only get her to move so I can move myself, alone, afterwards. If I don't say anything now it will only get more difficult to tell her later on.

What can I do, without hurting her? As I said I still want to be with her, but I'm not ready to live together just yet.

Appreciate all comments!

Your not ready to live together, though you have been living together for a year at your parents house? Are you not financially ready?

I get Whats you mean. The thing is next step is moving togheter->marriage-> father

Dont get me wrong i like her a lot. However, moving togheter now and spend the rest of my life with her is not exactly What i want YET, because i think it Would mean we Would get tired of eachother in a near future.

The point is, im not ready to settle down yet.

Oh and its nothing financial.

If you're not ready to settle down, don't.

I got married aged 20. Biggest mistake of my life.

Fuck some other hotter girls and see how you feel about her. If you still got dem feelz after fucking other women, she must be a keeper.

i know the thing. Even if you have a perfectly healthy relationship, living together is not always a good idea. I did the same and I wish i rather wouldn't. Not that it is a big deal, but it feels like that did not help us.

Regarding how to tell that to her, i have no idea. I guess there is no harmless way

Cheating is ok. Girls cheat all the time, far more than men do.

Nothing bleak about it at all, variety is a good thing and girls love drama. Treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen.

My opinion is that you are not ready for commitment. You want to fuck other girls. So basically by dragging this you are doing yourself a disservice and you will just hurt her more later on.

Best thing to do is tell her that you want to live alone. Very likely your relationship will go downhill after that but you need to be true to what you want.

IMO you can not go from living together to living apart, messes up the whole dynamic.
I see what you mean though, I had to get my most recent Ex to move the hell out of my house and you have got to be hard on the problem and not on the person (Credit the book "Difficult Conversations).

You need to see where she is coming from and why her living there has become long term. Reassure her that you love her and that the only reason you are doing this is that you two are too young to live together long term just yet and that she promised the current situation was temporary.

Give her a deadline to move out and help as much as you can, in all honesty its gonna be hard to tell her to move and not mess up things in the relationship, but it has to happen and you need to deal with it delicately.
