We'll basically today, I told her how I felt about me going to college and how this relationship seems difficult to me because of the stage difference. She wants to just go with the flow and when the time comes, we ll see what happens. I feel like I'm wasting my time if I'm with her just to build all this comfort and than feel lost if we break up. I want to talk about it but she doesn't like to confront problems. Please help! |

It's probably doomed once you leave. The distance will tear things apart. You also don't want to be tie down for college, you'll miss some great experiences and regret it. Honestly, if you can stomach it, have a great time with her until you leave and let it go. Don't bring it up, don't make it a think, just enjoy her company and when the time comes, let go. If you get to that point and you both can't stand the idea, go from there. Sometimes it's worth the pain to enjoy something for a little while. It's better than not having it at all. |

I dated a girl that was in college when I was in highschool. I wasn't worried due to me actually being a man about the relationship. But the distance got to me and I ended up breaking up with her before I cheated. I don't advise this, I didn't approach / close a lot of girls due to this. And when I did end up breaking up with her I became an AFC even after being dominant with this girl for a few years. I'm stilling fighting this right now, two years down the road. |

I was actually over her the day I broke up with her, had girls practically in a line ready for me. What I said wasn't what I was trying to get across hahaMore of a realization that she was a lot better then I had perceived at the time, the AFC thing is more of a come and go mood. In all honesty I haven't dated anyone since her due to that, but hey I don't mind being with different women. |
