Post subject:  From International LDR to 3 hour
Hey guys I have been in an international LDR for about 8 months and with 2 visits so far (next one in a few months). I have been away from this site since entering the ldr because there tends to be a lot of negativity towards LDR. I have just been doing what comes naturally and the both of us couldn't be happier. I did find out that I will be going back to the states permanently in either 9 or 12 months. When I do, I will be living 3 hours from her for either 3 or 6 months (depending on when I leave here) and then in same place after that.

We are both busy individuals and I understand that you can't visit every weekend, but it sure as hell beats every 6 months or greater. My question is how does everything change in a ldr when it's only a few hours away (if that's even considered a ldr)?

In a country like Denmark where i'm from, 3 hours apart from eachother is LDR. In three hours you can bascially travel from one end of the country to the other.

I would still call it LDR in your situation, just because of the fact, that it's not easy to visit eachother as often. When i think of a non LDR relationship, i think of someone you can go to in less than half an hour.

Your situation will definitely change, because you will be able to see eachother way more, but it will still be considered a LDR :) - It can be either good or bad. When you are spending time together right now, you probably only see the good things in eachother. Seeing eachother way more will eventually bring some negative things out. Some habits that one another don't like, or something else.

My advice would be taking things slow. Just because it's easier now, doesn't mean that you are supposed to be together each day. Don't rush and just take it slowly :)

if you haven't notices long term relationships have nothing to do with meeting women. meeting women is this

meet->dating->seduce

you are in the fourth part

meet->dating->seduce->relationship

you are in the part of relationship. has nothing to do with meeting women mate. thought you should know. after relationship is obviously marriage.

so doing natural in reltionship, saying it is kind of silly, because everyone knows how to have a relationship, pretty much everything you parents do.

does everything change? i think so.

I would say very few people know how to have a relationship, and when you get older you realise your parents are fucked up too and perhaps a big reason in why you might have relationship problems.

My religious upbringing really fucked me over in the girls department.
