Hello everyone i have been posting in this forum it's been a while and i got to the point where i found a gf, i'm in first year in art school she is in second, and i'm actually older than her. so the problem is that she just got out of a loong relationship, and i'm suppose to be the "new guy", but she doesn't want the whole world to know that we are together. beside that she is very gentle with me and we already sleeped together and had alot of moments and she is always nice and caring about me. She is the party girl kind so she have alot of friends and they always go out get drunk, and me i'm more af a chill out guy i don't really party i'm into a different kind of trance. so when she is out i never tell her not to because i don't want to sound needy. I tell her go have fun, and right after that i get in a terrible mood. I have started to wait for her msgs or to be nice to here or a bit to romantic and i'm affraid i'm falling in love, because it is something that i don't want at all. how can i own her, which means make her fall for me to the point that she will admit it in front of people? what should i change in my relationship-maintaining game? I thank you alot for your attention |

You can't own someone and you cannot change someone. She is the person she is and perhaps she doesn't want anything serious, back off a little and do not become needy. It's really no big deal if she doesn't text often, you're letting it get into your head. Want to avoid falling in love? Game other women. |

THIS^ Best way to keep from putting her on a pedestal is to prove that she is one of many. There are a lot of good women out there. |

From since when can someone "own" another person? Love isn't about owning someone. You're taking this to an extreme that you want her to stay with you all the time, talk to you all the time and tell everyone that she is yours all the time. In my opinion, you are not exclusive yet. If she doesn't want anyone to "know about your relationship", then I'm guessing you are way too young to REALLY date. I'd go for letting her party if she wants to, as long as she doesn't get wasted. Try to go out more often, you might start liking clubs/pubs, then you can vibe together really well. |

Possessive relationships cannot end well. No relationship is healthy, in fact, if all the power and control is on one side. I hear a lot of guys talk about strategies to keep her chasing after them and keeping the ball in their court all the time. If you're always controlling the relationship, and she's always chasing after you, then she's going to get tired eventually. When this happens, she will walk away. That's why it is important to find a balance, where each of you are initiating conversations equally, pushing and pulling equally, and doing all the attraction equally. |
