Ok, so nexted HB9 after she broke one year relationship. No contact for two weeks. She texts today about holidays and we went back and forth briefly. Played it cold. I'm thinking about texting her something like, "Want to get together at this art gala next week? Maybe I miss you just a little bit. Probably just the booze talking though". Is this not a good idea?? In our two weeks off I've been bettering myself, banging other chicks and shes aware of it etc. Played it good. But is it too soon? |

This is too soon, stick with NC and let her come to you, let her suggest meeting. |

We automatically seek out that which gives us comfort (yes, even with relationships we know aren't working) even if temporary. I'd wait for her to make a more overt move about hanging out, since she's the one who ended the rel, just to ensure she's not just experiencing momentary weakness. It'd suck for you if you got her to hangout only for her to realize shortly after it was a mistake (she can easily frame it as such if you're the one initiating her to hangout). |
