GF cancelled 3 recent Friday dates

Post subject:  GF cancelled 3 recent Friday dates
1 year LTR, see each other about twice a week. 3 times in the past 2 months she's wanted to postpone a scheduled date b/c of her homework load. All three times I replied sure, it's cool.

No biggie, but then I realized all 3 cases had been Fridays (we've seen each other lots of other days.). Friday is generally the least urgent day of the week for homework (the only one with 3 days 'til the next possible due date) and one of the most popular for going out and dating.

Should I be concerned / suspicious? Or am I being insecure/paranoid/oneitis/beta/needy/etc.? (There are no other relationship red flags right now, and in general she asks for more time together than I do, and is a good GF who'll do whatever I want sexually, ask outright if I'm happy with this and that, etc.)

What were the reasons for not hanging with you those 3 times? Legit or bs?

It was her homework load. Which I do know is intense, having taken some of the same classes. I wasn't skeptical at all until I realized all 3 reschedulings had been Fridays (which is typically the least urgent homework day and one of the biggest going out / partying / dating days.)

Well right now I see no red flags. I'd probably be direct and just ask her does she have something else planned on Friday nights?

Apparently she told him she had plans that night, to do homework.

I'd have to ask what kind of person she is. There are different kinds of people. Some procrastinate, so when HW is due on Monday, they party Friday, and Sat, and put off the HW until Sunday night. Other people, like me, can't really enjoy themselves when they have a deadline due. They'd rather get shit out of the way so you can go have fun and not worry about getting home early enough or being too hung over to get done what is needed to get done.

If there are no other red flags, I would suspect your girl is like me. She doesn't want to go out Friday and have the worry of the HW over her head and would rather get it behind her so she can actually enjoy the rest of the weekend.
