Post subject:  GF's guy friends

Hi everyone I'm looking for some advice on how I should feel about this...

I've been dating a girl for about 3 months now, she's 22 I'm 26. She has a very close group of guy friends, one of them she dated in highschool, and she hooked up with another one of them one time when she was 20. This guy she hooked up with seems to be a very close friend currently and she goes out drinking with him and his friends and up to cottages or whatever.

I don't keep in contact with my ex's so I guess I find this kinda weird. She's really outgoing and a cool girl so these are all friends she's had since highschool. The other day she went out drinking with the guy she had a one night stand with and his friend, and they both slept at her place in her basement and left in the morning. She told me this and I said I would rather she not have people she hooked up with sleep at her house. Again, I don't have any really close friends that are girls, so I'm not really sure how I should feel about this. Am I being a jealous person or appearing too insecure? What do you guys think about her relationship with her guy friends, and is it even any of my business? She talks about me a lot and wants me to meet all her friends. Other than this, I'm happy with this girl for now.

Tell her that you went out the other night drinking with your ex and she slept over because it got late. See her reaction to that. If it is negative, tell her you lied and thats how it feels when she does the same. If she doesn't care, don't tell her it was a lie unless you want her to know how that makes you feel when she does that. If I was in your position I would not give a crap and start hooking up with other girls but that's just me. Im not about being played or looking stupid.

^Seriously wouldn't do the above. If you are serious with her talk to her about it. If not I would just play it off as no big deal. If something happens you weren't serious anyway and you should have a backup plan. Don't try to make shit up to get a reaction its childish and will probably backfire.

She has those guys friendzoned. I know several girls like this and I doubt you have anything to worry about.

I see two choices. Quit being a scared pussy because she's yours and you know it. Or, quit being a scared pussy and tell her you do not condone and will not tolerate her behavior.

Dump her. She's not the woman for you.

Don't be a control freak and tell her who she can and can not see or hang out with. Don't be such an idiot to stay in a relationship where you feel threatened by her friends. Lets face it, this shit COULD happen and to me, personally, her going to cottages with a bunch of guys is a bit iffy to me. Definitely not girlfriend material in my opinion.

Dump her, she's not GF material. Go out and play the field of find someone that's GF material.

In a sense you have "Ex's" sleeping over her place, in the basement??

That is utter bullcrap. Do you fuck her enough? If not, shes definitely getting some satisfaction from these guys. No way they slept in the basement...how do I know? I would go over a girls house who has a boyfriend, and I'd be in bed with the girl, as I allow her to answer the phone and have her tell her boyfriend that I got really drunk and am sleeping in the attic....

attic/basement/living room/ whatever its all bullshit...(I'm talking from experience.)

I mean there's no way to really tell, if I was in your position talk to her about it, and strictly state that you don't tolerate her bullshit, because you have a friend (SirPounceALot (lol use any other name)) that fucks women when they tell their boyfriend he really slept in the attic or living room.

I agree with the above post. Shes not gf material...but who said you can't have multiple "girlfriends"... lol.

I can personally attest that there are girls I have previously banged that are now strictly platonic, for various reasons. In smaller cities this is VERY popular since everybody ends up banging at some time or another.

I bet the girl is pretty freakin cool and the guys just rely on her to bring other girls around.

Had a similar situation, if it really bothers you too much, walk away because it is so hard not to let dark thoughts poison the relationship.

you don't tell a woman "you would rather not"
you tell a woman that such and such crap shall not be tolerated, the punishment for any violation being immediate dismissal with no severance pay (but she can give you a blowjob before disappearing :P)

if your value is high, she will comply.

if your value is high but not quite sky-high she will bicker about it. what you do then, is establish that you care about her, and you would hate to lose her, but you deeply respect and value yourself and you will not let anyone, no matter how important to you, walk all over your boundaries. hold your frame. she will comply.

if your value is low, then you should either be fucking her better or next her and find another chick, 'cause this one, you won't keep in check anyway and it's gonna end up badly for you.
