All girls have them. All girls keep them to an extent. However, when is it a good time to put an orbiter in their place if they start getting aggressive with your girlfriend. Wouldn't it show a lack of respect for your relationship if an orbiter simply starts dogging you and going after your girlfriend. What would you do in that situation? My girlfriend has a quite a few of them |

Honestly, I don't ever worry about orbiters. Granted, I think it's generally acceptable to handle orbiters when your girlfriend signals to you that she is uncomfortable. However, I can only think of this happening to me maybe twice ever. Both times I walked up to my girlfriend, playfully said "MINE", grabbed her hand (or picked her up), and walked away with her. I removed her from the situation.. problem solved. My girlfriend has a quite a few of them For the most part, I think that girls are better equipped to handle their orbiters than guys are. Plus, I don't think it's my job to police who my girlfriends talk to. Just my 2 cents. -Wolf |

Yeah Wolf is right. If he dogs you and is aggressive with your gf it's up to HER to shut him down, tell him to have some respect for your relationship and if he doesn't then she walks off. If she allows an orbiter to dog you problem is her, not him ; you're just a random dude to him, she's the one with a responsibility to you. Only get involved when she literally can't do anything. |

Somehow I disagree. You have to protect your woman no matter what. If you can protect her then you can protect your family, or the one she may think giving you one day. It's natural for them to test you on that. It is however a tricky game, and you really have to see clear before you do a move, as these moves can get radical.. For example, you just cannot grab your girlfriend and yell "MINE!" if she was chatting with her manager at the annual corporate piss up. Remaining casual about it is off course the way as you don't want her to think they are true competitors. If you are really unsure of what to do, be more specific of what's happening and will try to help, it may serve as an example for the future. R_III |

In my experience, a girl with a lot of male orbiters is never satisfied in terms of the validation she receives. I've been in some deep, meaningful relationships with girls like this, and despite the very strong connection we had, it's never enough. She needs a string of men to make her feel good, with at least one fulfilling her sexual needs. You can't ask her to change or get rid of anyone. They are there by her choosing. If that bothers you, then you should walk. |
