My GF and I are really interested in having sex in the same room as another couple. We have a couple in mind that we feel comfortable with, but our problem is that we don't know how to go about proposing the idea. We aren't sure if we should try to seduce them or just talk to them about it or what. They are some of my best friends, so I'm hoping they would feel comfortable enough with us.

Has anyone else done this with their partner, and if so, how did you go about doing this?

BTW, to be perfectly clear, we don't want to have sex with the other couple, just around them.

You don't ask. Ever. That shit would get awkward as fuck. I can't imagine my best friend coming to me asking to have sex with her girlfriend around my girlfriend and I. I don't think I'd want to hang out with him anymore.

I've done this plenty of times... at swinger parties (hotel take-over's are ideal for this kind of thing). I wouldn't try it with friends, unless I already knew that they were into kinky activities.

Wolf is spot on.

If you have an interest, get out on Craigslist or something else and try to meet a couple that can be friends in this role for you. It's risky to aim for someone who is already your friend because you're trying to change the nature of the relationship with them, and that also risks losing what you have with them.
