My coworkers and I were talking about girls and game. But when I found out they live in the same neighborhood as my gf, I didnt want to bring her up. Some of them have higher positions than me and almost all of them have inflated egos (one guy bragged that like 2 chicks on facebook liked his before/after shirtless picture.) Anyway I know what it's like to be doing well and have that inflated ego, plus the fact that one lives in the same neighborhood, was it just insecurity...... or smart, not to mention my gf to my horndog friends? I feel like eventually, they'll find out about her, though it doesnt mean anything bad has to go down. I guess with new friends or coworkers, its hard to tell if theyre really your boys or not. |

Definitely insecure. Your coworkers are insecure too. If they weren't, they wouldn't be talking about girls liking their pictures on facebook. I guess in your position, I'd be open about my gf, since they'd only see her with me around, but that's because I've spent 7 years becoming as physically intimidating as possible, and no guy that knows what's good for him would hit on my gf in front of me. Your case might be different, but again, them knowing that you have a gf gives them no leverage, even if they were master seducers (hint: if they're talking about facebook likes, they probably don't get laid very often), since they'd basically never see her. If they found out about you gf, then they could use it against you if they ever meet her.
Anyway I know what it's like to be doing well and have that inflated ego, plus the fact that one lives in the same neighborhood, was it just insecurity...... or smart, not to mention my gf to my horndog friends? If you think these guys can pull your gf from you she shouldnt be your girlfriend. |
