She and I just started our relationship (highschool teens btw) and she tells me this guy has been trying to get with her since before we started going out. Apparently she told him "maybe". I replied with: I didn't know you guys had a thing. Then I read the forums and decided to give her a "soft next"; I think that's how you use it - ignoring her because she asking for my attention in a negative way. Then she sends me a text saying that she's gotten a hold of him but he ended the call before she could finish. This feels like a lot for one day. What should I do (I'll be seeing her tomorrow) Should I ignore her. PS I have no issue hitting on other girls if that would do any good. |

You should hard dump her ass. Tell her you won't put up with blatant disrespect like that and get rid of her. Do better for yourself. GFTOW. And don't sell yourself short. Monogamy is a privilege that has to be earned. If your gf says she might get with another guy then clearly she has earned the right to be your EX girlfriend. Stop being a little bitch. Indeed a lot of poo for day 1. Always be conscious of red flags or "tells." These small things tend to paint a bigger picture of things to come and can shed light on fake/crazy people. This looks like one of those tells. Sometimes the best thing is to just sit the person down and have the "so what the hell is going on?" conversation. See what she says, if its legit, give it a little longer. If she sounds nutty, move on. |

I can relate to this. Me and my girl have been going out for a few days. I had no idea so many guys were trying to hit on her. Im wondering if I should "soft next" (is that a common term?) Because it feels like Im giving her the attention and shes not exactly pushing these guys away. Its so odd that is happening day one of the relationship. |
