Post subject:  Valentine's day/anniversary thing

So me and my girlfriend have our anniversary coming up on Feb 11th. As we all know, Valentine's is not far after that and I feel like I should do something really nice for the occasion. I have already decided to cook for her, since she is always my cook (we live together).

Any other ideas that could make this a nicer occasion for her? I could get her a gift or take her somewhere, but I want to do something original, so any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks fellas :)

Get some massage oil and give her a full body massage, always goes down a treat.

I once got myself a huge ass red gift wrap and wrapped it all over me saying :"Your prayers have been answered. This is my gift to you."

Obviously it was meant to be a joke more than anything else and I did get her a real present , but it was a funny thing to do and we both got a good laugh out of it too.

---

One of my exes made me some sort of card saying "You're special".
Thats it. No I love yous , no romantic overflow of bullshit. Just that. She later explained that she loved before and will possibly love again in the future , but no one has ever been quite as special as I was to her. I can't really explain it but for some reason it greatly impressed me.It was very unique and sincere.

---

If you wanna go for more romance, rose petals on the bed with some scented candles around make a great massage opportunity.Every woman wants to live that incredibly 'gay' movie scene once in her life.
Remember, nothing is cheesy as long as you're not being cheesy doing it.
You can even hire a fucking jet and write "I love you" on the nightsky and still come off as cool if you act like it.

---

All in all if you really wanna make her feel special just tear yourself from work / school / other stressful life problems and be a refreshing presence in which she can endulge. Be the same you you are everyday ,but do it better.
For a day , make her problems go away and seem meaningless. I know it might not sound like much but if you can 'brake off' from the real world for 1 day , it will be a day she'll remember for a very long time.
