I've been seeing a girl who lives in Vienna - I'm in London. she visits every month or so and its been going since september.

She's very sweet and a demon in bed but has recently started playing the 'I miss you' card.

Now I do like this girl but I haven't spent enough time with her to warrant an 'I miss you too', which is obviously what she's looking for in a response.

I don't like to be dishonest to girls and am finding it hard keeping her happy when I can't say those (apparently) simple 3 words.

I just think it's pretty pointless saying shit like that when there clearly can't yet be any real basis for it.


any thoughts on a good way round this?

What's the big deal about saying "I miss you too?"

You could try and be cocky about it, or just "You're sweet."

I doubt there is any answer that could fuck things up with you.

how is that a shit test? jesus some times you just gotta enjoy what you have rather than thinking every thing a girl says is some ploy to ruin you.

Haha fair point. i don't see it as a ploy though.... she's not that devious sort of girl. it's more my own deal in this case but i need some good avoidance tactics.

Either i say it too, and feel like shit for basically lieing; or I don't, and get my balls busted and am guilt-ridden anyway.


I'm probably just being a massive pussy to be fair.

Just say, "I want to see you again."

That's like "I miss you" BUT without all of the emotion. Also you do want to see her again at least for a shag right?

Dude some of you guys are so deep in this stuff...how the hell is "I miss you" a shit test ? She's missing you. She's expressing emotion.

It's not rocket science...not everything is part of the game. This whole thing is supposed to help you better yourself , not become emotionally unavailable.

Expressing emotion is not weakness.Expressing weakness through emotion is the problem !

One great way to deal with this and find out if it's a shit test or not, and to look good doing it is to speak the truth. What I mean is, ask her if she really means that when she says it. She'll come back with something like "Why would you ask that?" And from there you can just speak the truth, like "well, I didn't know we had spent enough time together for you to really miss me that much." Humor is easy here too, you're even more charming than you thought you were, etc. If she calls you out and isn't happy you're reciprocating, you can always say "you like to make sure that when you say things like that that you really mean it."
