Post subject:  Should I bring "the talk"?

More info on us two: save-me-before-i-turn-into-a-total-wuss ... 51467.html

She's stubborn, so am I. I can feel she likes me a lot, she can probably feel I feel the same way about her.

Today, our mutual friend (and her 2nd best female friend) talked to me, telling me we two are a perfect fit and that I should make the move. She "would hate you and xxx to wait for too long and end up alone". She says she knows I like her friend a lot. She also says "if there are two people who like each other like you do, they shouldn't play these little games, step up and let the other one know" Then she tries to persuade me to make the move by saying things like "Well, she might meet someone else every day, so better be quick about it." I took that one as a failed attempt to make me do what she wishes.

I guess that these two talk a lot about me. Is it possible that the girl I'm seeing for nearly 3 months told her she'd like a relationship and her friend has decided to "test the waters" for her? Is she trying to give me a hint? She wouldn't be doing this out of a boredom, right? I know that this "mediator" girl used to have a crush on me but these days are gone. :)

Now some things that make me consider to bring the talk:

- With the girl I'm seeing for 3 months, we told each other we like the other one a lot after one hot sex session.
- Everytime I tell her I want to spend time with her, she's available (with one exception, but she was sick at the time)
- She told me she found a job to make money so she can travel with me when the semester is over. (This one sounds like she is making future plans with me)

What is your advice? I'm really contemplating to step up, tell her that I like her and I want to try how things work out if we are exclusive. She knows I'm not coming from land of scarcity, I've got a couple of girls in my rotation right now. I think it doesn't necessarily have to make me look weaker, especially when I deliver it confidently.

You're well aware that this girl is into you. You've heard it from her own mouth.
You listed three things that were big IOIs in terms of her wanting a relationship.
You're in a strong position.

If you want it to be on, it's on.

Decide what you want and go for it, if it's a relationship, it sounds like she's more than ready.

Good luck mate.

P.s, ignore the mediator girl. I had the same thing. They're just there because they like the gossip.
If anything, the mediator helps get the girl excited about you haha.

Thanks! Seems like I should grab my balls and give it a try.

Yes, grab the balls and give it a try, if that is what you want.

Would you be considering this as strongly if not for the mediator girl? Were you thinking about doing this before she mentioned it to you? NEVER make a girl more serious to you than she is because it's what she wants, or what her friend wants. Make sure if you go for the relationship it's because you like what she brings to your life. Period. Going for the relationship is not a bad thing, just want to make sure you don't get into one just because someone else talked you into it.

Good luck man.

Yes, I would consider it as strongly without the "meadiator girl". I've even aked this question myself. :) I only take such steps if I want them, nice to see we are following the same path here.

So I made the move last night. First I've asked her if she really wants to go on holidays together in february, she whispered "yes". Then I knew I'm good to go. I took my shot.

She just smiled and started kissing me. I was expecting an answer so I pulled away and kept looking at her, my eyes saying "....and?". She of course got it and said "I want it too."

So we're a couple now.

Thanks!
