Hey guys, I've been dating this girl for about 9 months now. We've had troubles, but who hasn't in a relationship. But my girlfriend says she's lost trust in me. Which ties back to my ex. I had a friendly catch-up conversation with my ex awhile ago. In the text my ex said "I love you." But she's just one of those girls who tosses that shit around. I didn't respond to that. My current gf read it and freaked out. I guess that's where she lost trust in me. Which I find is crazy since she has a catch-up chat with her ex every now and then. I don't mind, she's with me. I guess it kind of spiralled out of control. We both go to university. And surprise surprise, my ex goes there too. Now, I was studying with my girlfriend. I decided "I'm bored, hey lets leave, you have to bus soon and I'm getting a ride." So as we're leaving my gf spots my ex. Not me. But her. So I say good bye to my girlfriend as she has to go. And then we leave. Apparently, in her mind. I gave her a bad good bye since my ex was there. And we were going to meet up or something, not too sure. This stirred up those trust feelings and now she's thinking about everything. I'm not too sure how to handle this. Any advice? |

Hey, This is not a bad thing, it's attraction rising up in her. She'll like you more for this, not less. It's also acceptable that she gets these feelings, it's because she doesn't want to lose you. Just make clear, that it's not your fault that your ex sends you this, that you didn't reply. It's not your fault that girls like you... and assure you chose her, and want to be with her. |
