| Post subject: | A woman's true opinion about pickup |
I'm seeing this girl and we are really comfortable with talking about our experiences with dating and whatnot. I wouldn't normally ever reveal myself to a woman as a pua, but I started asking her questions that are directly related to pick up. Didn't use our terminology, but I asked her how she would respond to a well dressed man coming up to her randomly in a public place. I tried to be very descriptive because I knew she'd give me a genuine answer. This is great, because its coming right from the horses mouth. It's not what women want us to think, it's how they actually think. Anyways, I got all specific and explained the scenario that this good looking guy walks up and strikes up a conversation and seems really interesting and charming. She said she'd certainly stop what she was doing and talk to him. I then asked if she would give him her number, or meet up with him for a date later on. She basically said no, even if he was really charming, because she doesn't meet strangers like that. Then I asked how a person could "unbecome" a stranger to her if she never gave him a chance to get in contact with her again, since she'd never get the chance to know him beyond that first encounter. She didn't have a good answer to that... Knowing how this girl is, that explains why she's 32 and single! But I could also tell that she actually would give up her number if the guy was smooth enough. This of course completely validates what I know about pickup because the smooth pro's get the numbers and insta-dates, and the AFCs and pua noobs get blown out. I wanted to share this story, but I'd like to also get some feedback from anyone else who has tried to delve into their girl's mind when it comes to what they think and how they feel about being picked up and hit on by strangers. |

Hey Puaninja! I have also delved a bit into this I have told a couple girls. "What If i told you I was an aspiring dating coach, and me and a friend teach men how to meet and attract women." They were always very interested, I never had an overly negative response from it. If anything it is a very good way to start a thread about it, and they always ask a bunch of questions like: "what do you teach them", "so you get alot of girls", and the most common "so you are like hitch?" If you do this I wouldn't throw around complex terms and ideas, and I wouldn't call yourself a PUA. Calling yourself a PUA is rather "try-hard" This turns the girl completely off and she thinks she is another notch on your belt. |

On another forum [which doesn't revolve around dating at all, rather focused on MBTI] I mentioned PUA's and got a variety of negative responses.Calling yourself a PUA is rather "try-hard" This turns the girl completely off and she thinks she is another notch on your belt. Like "pua's are morally bankrupt", "You're a manipulative asshole and desperate if you're into pua, just be a fucking human being", and other similar responses. Another guy on the same forum mentioned that he's a dating coach and he teaches guys how to feel more comfortable and confident around girls and that he teaches them to understand how a girl thinks. He got a lot of positive responses. I don't think there were any negative responses at all. So... I don't mention pua to girls. ever. |

Heh, my girlfriend (OLTR) is a special case. I'd wager that my girlfriend understands more about pick-up and "relationship game" than most guys on this forum. We talk about pick-up related topics together frequently and she occasionally reads my posts on the forums. Her views are very similar to mine. -Wolf |

Hmmm, I think it was skills that said never take advice from a woman, tattoo that on your dick. I dont think youre going to get a logical answer from an illogical situation. My opinion is that every woman can be picked up in any situation you just have to know strike a cord with that woman... Im sure some woman are closed off to strangers but a vast majority arent. Swing away! |

I already have a tribal butterfly with barb wire tattoed on my dick. There's no room for pua words on there. I just like the idea of real talking girls you are intimate with because it's like having the enemy divulge their secrets to you. |

Me and my fiancée are quite open with our dating techniques and she has told me a lot of secrets but in reality all girls have different likes and dislikes regarding dating and it's etiquette! One thing I can't work out if its good or bad is she is completely comfortable with letting me dance with her hb10 friends! For example last time we where out one of her friends had an argument with her bf so my girl took her friend to the bathroom for a heart to heart! She told me to keep her friend company on the dance floor! I mean this friend it ultra hot and I danced with her for an hour and got a few drinks! I was honestly surprised at her complete lack of jealousy! I guess it's a very good thing?! |

Haha, I knew it! Im not saying dont ask them... Im saying dont count it as good of advice as youll find in the books and on this forum. Unless of course we are talking about the lesbians from PJ's... but Im sure they were better at picking up women than both of us!

This is why when they give you advice you have to filter it. On the other hand, you have enough women on this forum that they post sound advice. Some puas are misogynists like the guy that shot a woman on the face ( I forgot his name). Being/becoming a misogynist is something to be embarrassed of. |

Some puas are misogynists like the guy that shot a woman on the face ( I forgot his name). Being/becoming a misogynist is something to be embarrassed of. As for taking dating advice from women they generally tell you "to remain true to yourself" or "be yourself" and the average AFC's self is a needy whiny bitch. If we were misogynists by any means we wouldn't be on this forum. I haven't sensed a misogynist in the latter. Just men who are thinking critically of woman's advice would you trust a man who never had a girlfriend probably not, women don't try to pick up women. They just try to rationalize their own feelings with the woman in question, which is illogical considering every girl is different |
