Alright bear with me guys, this is going to be a pretty long one. I've been hanging out with this girl I work with for about 3 weeks now, she recently got out of a 2 year relationship and we've been hooking up. I am super alpha around her and she thinks im a player. I am always leading the interactions and she says she doesnt want to like me too much because she is scared i am going to hurt her. Everytime we are together its great but she always has her insecurities saying that she likes me too much. I am the main guy in her life at the moment and i know this. The other night we were together and she said she liked me too much, then 10 minutes later she said something happened and her feelings changed then 10 minutes later she said her feelings were back. This chicks kind of a headcase to be honest. Its also weird that I work with her and see her everyday. I still want to try to make things work with this girl and see where it goes. Should I freeze her out because shes being so hot and cold? I have been also in two days its her birthday. Shes having a dinner and going out with all her friends. She said she would really like me to go but I am not sure if I should just bail instead of getting questioned by all her friends who i've never met. I did tell her I'd go but with her hot and cold behavior would it be appropriate to freeze her out even on her bday |

You can't freeze her out on her birthday. You said you were going to go, so go. Make a good impression on all her friends. Be aloof, and after all the cake and balloons are put away the next day, freeze her out if she plays you hot and cold. |
