Just a question, it seems for kinda stupid for me to read stuff like getting over approach anxiety or read about looking for IOIs since Im in a LTR.

I was wondering the same thing man. Because alot of the PU stuff I don't think applies at all and I was wondering how much does. For example in PU if you show you care about the girl too early on it is a turn off. Then in LTR you need to show you care otherwise she thinks you don't care and will not like it. interesting question.

"PU stuff", is waaaay too broad. If by "PU stuff" you mean: advice regarding bettering yourself as a man, then yes.

Of course you want to read up on sexuality and to enhance your sex life. Books about finding and defining goals, and achieving them. Books about being a man and how to become an even greater man (spirituality).

If by "PU stuff", you mean: learning negs, push/pull, funny one liners, routines, etc, then no. I hardly read that stuff when I'm single.

Getting over approach anxiety is still good. I think for any man to grow you'd need to learn to handle your anxiety's, and having a great social anxiety like approaching other human beings will cripple you A LOT in life.

But what you're basically asking is: "Should I still improve as a man when I'm in a long term relationship?", and the answer is yes.

From experiance I'd say keep reading/doing Pua my friend, The worst thing I ever did was stop PUA when I got into my first LTR. I became such an AFC it kills me looking back how bad I was, I don't mean go out and cheat on your girlfriend I mean just flirt learn some skills because then you will never become worried if your GF finishes you because you know you have the skills to get any woman you want. I'm not with that woman anymore I am in a healthy relationship now still doing PUA I won't ever cheat but I do flirt from time to time to keep my mojo going and I still read allot of PUA matterial to keep my brain working.

Yes, I remember my first LTR I did the same thing and I ended up becoming super needy and downright a loser. I just don't wanna get like that again and forget all the lessons/skills I've learned. I Thanks for the advice Ap.

Its never too late to learn my man! Welcome!
Thank you!

I feel kinda weird for learning all this pick up stuff now when i have a girlfriend, i almost feel like i am betraying her by learning this (I know it sounds stupid). Not that it will stop me from learning but still

Just as long as you don't buy into the pickup fantasy, dump your girlfriend, and seduce every girl you see in hopes of becoming an irresistible ladies-man.
