Ok so been arguing with GF tonight and she called me insecure which I can be but fuck! how can I turn this around now it's probably the worst thing your girlfriend could think please help with this shit.

I know why already but I didn't think she could see it. What happened was the other night we both had an argument so I just ignored her all night then fell asleep, After that I woke up next to her she went to give me a hug I just got out of bed and went to work. So after work I was still pissed off so I was on facebook saw a picture of her in a slutty-ish outfit she went to a party with, I trust her and know she's faithful but it damaged my ego a little thinking why she would wear this even though she has a boyfriend. So that and my anger from the night before hit I told her I was unhappy about this and didn't speak to her for the day/night. Sounds childish as a write this but I was soo angry at the time.

So tonight we spoke on the phone for a while I started asking questions asking if we should still be together she said that she hated arguing etc... Didn't seem that arsed to be honest and that's not usually her she the clingy type. So alarm bells went of so I started asking questions and then she called me insecure. So that's what happened.

Woman have some kind weird six sense. So ofcourse she is going to see it. They have more weapons that we lack we didnt grow that kind of awareness.

She is a girl, is totally normal for her to partying in slutish outfit.

Girls love attention. But if you trust her.

Why did upset you? Guess you dont trust her that much.

Asking your girlfriend if you should be together.? lolol joking.

You have no intent of breaking with her so why with the immature talk?

Moral of the story she is right.

I agree 100% with what your saying, but it was the heat of the moment sort of thing that's why I said things I shouldn't. I do trust her it's just Out of respect for me i don't think she should dress like that. Anyway I agree with that and she is in the right but how to resolve this now without me looking like a pussy? If you could throw some ideas my way it would be so helpful.

You hav two options.

One is having a talk, telling her she is right, that you are acting like insecure little boy, and that no man should dictate how a woman dress.

Or

You go no contact because in your opinion she disrespect you by going with a slut outfit. And consider things over.

Question is here is, How are you going to react when she goes out again with a slut outfit?

Going to feel insecure, if you do the best is to call it over. And go find a new girl.

Respect. That's a very important part of a relationship, specially from woman to man. They need to respect us.

I agree with Snake. Either talk to her, tell her she needs to respect you and stop wearing sluttish outfits. If she does it again, you need to dump her otherwise she will feel like she can disrespect you whenever she wants to.

Other option is to apologize and let her dress like a whore.

Excellent advice I wouldn't suggest doing anything else.
Let's face it you are insecure and slating her further is only going to make her continue losing attraction. If you really dislike it that much find a girl who doesn't do that (good luck there aren't many nowadays).

Dressed like a slut?

If your girlfriend was dressed appropriately for the occasion ( her night out) and didn't pick up any men ( like a slut would) then she has every right to call you insecure.
You've got no right to tell her how to dress.
Whats next? Telling her how to act?

You have to stop with the cold shoulder act too. It's really damaging to your relationship. You aren't proving a point acting like that, all you're doing is shutting her out. And if you keep shutting her out, what do you think will happen next?

was it a slutty-outfit-themed party? if yes then don't sweat it. we have those kinds of parties in college. we also have ABC parties (anything but clothes), you should be glad she wasn't at one of those parties, because they get kinky fast.

on the other hand, if she was dressed slutty and everybody else there was wearing formal attire, i would assume there would be a problem, if not then let it go.

btw, out of curiosity, what did the slutty outfit look like?
