Would you do the same? Like should I get her a gift that sums up to that much too? Or it doesn't matter? Even if she's appreciative, I'm sure this would run through her mind because she knows I'm well off "I bought him a 100 dollar gift and he gives me this 40 dollar worth shit? What a cheapo" What are your thoughts on this? |

if you guys are buying gifts, you should spend at least as much as she does some may try to overcomplicate this, but it's a simple answer women resent a cheap man who does not reciprocate spent $110 on her lol and just in case richard pryor is listening, make sure to lick her asshole too |

Try to match spending, it's nice to spend a similar amount on each other, whether it be a little or a lot. Too little comes across as rather cheap, and too much comes across as a bit needy or "indebtey"... |

it's not how much it costs, it's how awesome the gift is. i gave a girl a $20 framed print of an awesome photo of us, and it blew her mind. i took a girl to a fancy restaurant and spent $300 and all she said was "thanks". think about the girl, what would impress her? |

This thread is a joke right? You can give her a silly $5 ring if it has a deeper meaning. So what's the point in juggling with numbers? You could also start to say that your gift was more expensive but she maybe had to drive to a shop which was located far away. So she had to pay the gas etc. That's all total crap. DECIDE for yourself like a man, if you want to spend the dough. I mean if you really want to give her a $100. Wouldn't it be silly to not do it because your afraid of giving her to much and receiving less? |

I'd say think about what YOU want to give her regardless of the price, then if the price is £1 or £1000, it doesn't matter as long as you know she'll like and its within YOUR budget. |

LOL. Give her something of EMOTIONAL value, not nominal. Every single douchebag on this planet can spend 100 bucks on a gift but not many can surprise their girlfriends and give them something really interesting. |

in my experience, the $$ of the gift isnt so much important. the idea of a gift is to make that someone feel shes appreciated and special for you. in some cases you can do it by $$, but you cant buy all.. and if youre spending on it, be sure, it is something she values. something you know she appreciates. or makes her feel beautiful. be creative. my three cents. write a song to her and sing it to her(or make a cd of her fav songs) vs buying that expencive sht make a calendar with pictures with her in it vs buying that expensive sht or buy that lingerie you like on her vs buying that other expencive sht. |
