Hi guys,

When you are in a relationship, how often do you need to contact your GF, when you're not living together?

I know this is a very subjective question and is variable but I'm just interested.

Who should be driving the interactions? Do you just sit back and wait for them to contact you mostly - assuming the attitude of "not giving a shit"?

Is that a rock solid attitude to have in any case? I guess it is... but how long does it take to obtain that.. especially when I'm not getting much in the way of success with women? (Read that as.. I'm not going out as much as I should)

The less often you contact them, the better.

The more they take the initiative and contact you, the better.

95% of them time, my girl sends me a txt during the day before I txt her. I then wait AT LEAST 20 minutes before answering her.

It's not an attitude of "I don't give a shit", it's more like "I'm a busy man. I'm working and doing shit. I don't have time to be sending txt's."

If you see she's taking the initiative and contacting you first, then there's no need to be an asshole to her.

I dont agree, with this attitude may be good in the beginning but it will dry her up very fast.

So if you have something interesting to tell her. Send her a txt. Sometimes you have to be romantic, . Always having a I dont give a shit. will end up alone and crying in alley.

So variation is the key.


Yeah I agree with Pryor in aat least 20minutes. Show her you have better thins to do.

When im with my g/f, IM WITH MY GIRLFRIEND.

She doesnt come first I did that mistake.

When I have girls who make me there world I ussually run away and think "oh shit" ITS FUCKING BORING... you know what same thing happen to girls.

Making your woman your #1 priority is the best way to make her lose interest in you. If you're at work, doing shit, studying, whatever, there's no reason why you should respond to your woman within 5 minutes.

i'm not talking about having other things to do in general. Separate interests and the like are key for a successful relationship. I mean making someone wait purposely for you to reply. That shit would get old quickly for me, and I'd soon start to wonder if maybe you weren't interested in anything I had to say. I'm not saying that you have to jump all over every conversational tidbit she tosses your way, oh no. All i mean is that its rude and condescending to make your sig other wait a set amount of time before you can be bothered to text her back.
