NLP and hypnosis is everything. Thats what we all need to understand. What they are are labels for identifying certain aspects of our everyday reality or thought processes. With an understanding of how we think and respond and how or states determine how we perceive things, we are able to lead people into these states essentially 'helping' another to perceive some sort of interaction in whatever manner best suits us. Let me explain...

If you awkwardly walk up to a women and ask for her number out of the blue.. whats gunna happen? Nothing! Exactly! What one needs to do is put that woman in a state of... well you pick! Intrigue? Lust? Uncontrollable wanton desire?

Lets pick Intrigue (the best state to first achieve when meeting a woman. You want her to be intrigued by you, obviously, its what keeps her hanging on to you and keeping her interest. Now how do we do this? Do we learn language patterns and scripts and yadda yadda. Well yes, they certainly do help. But its a lot easier than you may think. Think about a time when you really really wanted something, when your lost in a gaze staring at a woman thinking about all the things you want to do to her. Now if you were able to put this state on her while your talking to her... your fucking golden!

So heres how you do it. Put yourself there first! Get yourself in a very upbeat mood, when your thinking about something you really want, intensely! That alone while talking to her is going to put her there, but even better, start getting her to talk about it. Ask her! "You going to the mall?" - "yes actually" "Oh ya? been there lately? or are you going to get something youve been thinking of?" "Ya, there is this dress..." Now you got her! Get her really talking about this dress while your right infront of her and relate that dress to you "Ya, I bet you felt the same way when you saw me as you think about the dress" (jokingly) What your doing is anchoring the feeling of that wanton desire for the dress to you! If you had a little more understanding of NLP you will also see her eyes keep looking to a certain place when shes talking about the dress. Now thats where she keeps images of things she really wants. Now every time you talked about yourself or you and her you can start jestering to that location, or even better, physically move there, stand exactly where she keeps looking. Your imprinting you in that spot now!

There is so much to learn about NLP and how the mind works. You can check out the videos on the link in my sig, or just keep following my posts, I feel I have a lot to teach! haha

Best of luck!

Not sure how much you've read around the NLP section of the forum, but my experience has been that those lurking around are a bit more... lawyer like... than the rest of the forum. Various reasons behind that... As you stated, it's an indepth field of study that requires more brainpower than your average field mouse, as well as the whole "NLP = BAD" stigma that seems to be floating around those in the PUA community.

Anywho, just wanted to toss out a heads up, and before it causes one of said incidents, ask about your background related to NLP?[/quote]

Hey read your post and wanted to make a couple of observations that i have had regarding NLP and Hypnosis in my work.

The principle you are talking about is the classic "go first" scenario from the Erikson model of Hypnosis.

So there are Two distinct theories about hypnosis The "State" theory that hypnosis is some how a special state of mind that is an altered consciousness; and the "behavioral" theory of hypnosis; where people respond to authority and social pressure to alleviate the burden of having to decide for themselves. I have performed group hypnosis many times and I have discovered that a large portion of my subjects are "hypnotized" because i am a hypnotist. There is no altered state involved and they are just following orders like good little sheep.

It is the psychological subtlety of me being perceived as a hypnotist that creates the suggestion in their mind that they are hypnotized...make sense?

By simply framing things in a way where it is somehow their idea...it becomes their idea and a far more powerful motivator than any script or pattern could ever generate. (HOORAY ADVERTISING!!)
