Hey guys are there any NLP videos that teach the basics? Maybe examples of the basics as well? I'm using some books but a video would really help me in understanding the concepts. Any suggestions? |

I'm mostly using it for pickup but I prefer to apply it to my entire life. I'm a sucker at communication but I've been getting better |

Beware of speed seduction 4 free. The info is pretty basic and it doesnt actually give you anything overly practicle. But here's the real problom with it I started the 5 video e coarse. What initally pissed me off was that he made me wait between all the video's. Secondly I had real moral dilemas with speed seduction and still do. I was watching more for run down on nlp in general and that was just the first place I thought to look. After about the 3rd video I found myself really impressed with SS. Infact I was dishartend with MM and was thinking of ditching all other styles and going SS all out. Following me here. Then as I was watching the fourth video I found myself thinking "get to the point" beauce he was just rambling on with shit. then something caugh my ear. Ross Jefferies: blah blah blah or maybe your being stupid and your trying something else or maybe your thinking that speed seduction is great. I clicked at that point and havent touched his stuff since. NLP originates out side of PU and thats really where it should be studied. I recomend starting with (NLP the new technology of achievement bye nlp comprehencsive).[/b] |

I actually have SS home course. Thing is I didn't understand much so I decided to take a look at some introductory stuff. I have intro to nlp by seymour and o'connor. It explains things pretty good but I learn when I see something put into practice so I can notice aspects of it and take example. That's some devious stuff by ross there man. Using nlp to sell his program I looked at some derren brown but I think it's too advanced for me to recognise pretty much anything |

Its good that you caught what he was doing, but I think you BOTH missed the point, NLP works, and you both proved it. Yeah, sure, you were smart enough to catch it, but the point is still valid that it hold weight. Also, you need a better foundation. No single style or discipline is going to work for you, and if it does good for you. But if you limit yourself to *just* MM, RJ, C/F, or anything else, you are really just gaming with a smaller tool set of which to pull from. My point: learn as much as you can. MM is great, not my dish; but I learned a lot from it and use some of it to this day. Same with NLP, it works wonders, esp with chicks that are susceptible, but its not the end all be all. NLP also works great to learn how to read and react, not necessarily to seduce and brain wash. At least, thats what I use it for, to gauge interest and to see where to move and improvise from where I am in the set. |

You make a lot of sense man! That's the point of nlp isn't it? Learning to expand your map so that you can understand, read and react appropriately. I'd like to learn nlp for my entire life. I've always had problems communicating. Social skills were simply awkward for me. Perhaps because of a hint of autism or maybe I just never learned how to interact with people. Nlp comprehensive has some good stuff! There's a 38 dvd training set that's supposed to give you all the basics with exercises and stuff. Anyone know if it's any good? It sounds great but I don't want to waste time and money on something that might not be useful. |

Your main problem might be reading people and their intentions, but most issues come from your own problem with body language. I lot of people don't know the proper BL to display due to a lack of social interaction as children, which isn't any fault of your own. Many people who had home schooling have this problem, intelligent as hell but socially they are inept. |
