Howdy ..

By now you should have some awareness of NLP and that it works by subtle influence .. but many people want to know how to start learning in a way so that they get some results fairly quickly. The best way I know of is repetition. Things that you repeat over and over again so that you can develope patterns to follow and not have to think about every word.

Ever looked at your feet while walking ?
Think about where to place your foot ?
Are you walking with good mechanics ?
Do your feet point in or out as you walk ?

try it ..

.. makes it harder to walk huh ?

But walking and NOT thinking about your feet is now natural to you and that means that you are NOT changing your physical behavior.

So .. the rule is :

Focusing internally is essential to learning but produces difficulty in being natural. Keep this in mind because EVERYONE who quits trying to learn because it doesnt feel natural is missing this point.

I like to isolate and deconstruct so I take each lesson and make it like a module that you can work on in specific terms. One of the most fundamental principles in NLP is stress words. Stress words are the ones that you vocally add more stress to in order to make that word the prime point. We talk this way naturally so as you learn to manipulate your own language you will be able to use this right away.

Here is an example , take an ambiguous statement ...
Quote:
That will put some cream in your coffee
and speak it OUT LOUD with stress on the words in bold.

That will put some cream in your coffee

That will put some cream in your coffee

That will put some cream in your coffee

That will put some cream in your coffee

That will put some cream in your coffee

That will put some cream in your coffee

That will put some cream in your coffee

That will put some cream in your coffee

.. now you can evaluate which one is the least sexy sounding and which one is the most sexy sounding. Think about that !! Which one sounds the most sexy ? It's just an ambiguous statement ! How can that sound sexy ? Well ... it wont get you laid all by itself but when you start practicing this technique and realizing that even the most unassuming thing can take on a sexy feeling to it then you really have something.

That is the Key to NLP .. it is never what is actually said on the surface .. but rather all the possibilities that could be just b-low it .. ha !

Thanks ..

But ..

There is no right or wrong answer .. because this is not a question !

It's an exercise !!

you can say each one with emphasis on different words and change the way it sounds ... change the meaning of it too ...

... and the more ambiguous you make it ... the more second and third meanings can apply ... you know , like more ways to misunderstand it. Practicing this will not only teach you where to put the stress in the sentence but also that you can put it on any word in the sentence and get a different result. This makes it flexible which is needed because there are other elements of NLP that come into play.

I will continue to post some basic stuff that can be practiced in the field and hopefully that will fill in the blanks for a lot of people.

Good post, however I guess its just normal tips on communication skills and I am not sure that its related to NLP specifically. I say this because once I was went to a seminar to improve my communication skills and they shared the same things about the importance of stress on the appropriate word to convey the right meaning. Either this or may be I didn't really understand the essence of your post in relation to NLP. As far as I can remember the only time the 'stress words' become important in relation to SS is when the HB uses them, as they are her trance words and we need to feed those words back to her over a period of time.

It is ..

Specifically it pertains to subliminal suggestion and command techniques where you can get only so many responses from the average person.

You can get ...

Acceptance
Denial
Polarity
Hesitation
Confusion
Assertion
or Desertion

whether the list is complete or not is irrelevent because in your sarging trance these are really the only things that you would have to work with .. or to overcome .. so when I train myself to engage each of these types of trance states I guage my progress by first using stress words and watching for positive reponses and then illiciting a state by using the hot stress words all together ..

Think about the womans physiology if you can get her to feel 3 strong emotional flashes with skin crawling ipiphanies that tickle the thousands of little hairs across there fine young bodies ... the titilations of human reality is that feeling of euphoria between knowing you going to blo your load and just gripping her ...

huh ? .. oh sorry  back to the point ..

.. and that is why Stress Words are an integral building block of NLP.
