I have been paying attention. I know you....perhaps more than you do. I know you want to be happy. You hope to become happy...but something always comes along and, boom, more crap. Relationship crap. Financial crap. Emotional crap. Crap that you feel might be a reflection of your self-worth. You try so hard to stay positive, and some days that works for you. But then there are those days that, out of the blue...completely out of nowhere...you get this overwhelming feeling of depression...of hopelessness. You feel it and you don't fully know why. You've heard all the 'positive thinking' stuff, and you have even tried it...again and again...but eventually you come back to that same empty place. You put on your brave face, use your strong voice, so that people will not know the real pain within you....you don't want to come off like the whiny mess you feel like you are. Yeah, happy would be nice, but frequent sorrow is what you are most familiar with...so it brings its own kind of comfort. After all, you have lived so long with pain, you might not know what to do without it. You have used casual sex as your way to shake off the cold bite of loneliness....a fleeting experience of being wanted. You numb yourself with distractions that you know are not good, but numb works for you....even if only for a little while. Every day, you look in the mirror....hoping for the day when your reflection will be someone you are fully proud of. I understand. |

I've come across this Phil Billitz, who claims to have adapted SS and NLP to create what he calls "hypno poetry", which sound like SS patterns, but he claims more poetic. i've looked all around the internet and couldn't find anyone who has this stuff. does anyone have any knowledge about this, or where i could find it? thanks so much in advance, this board is incredible! |

I found a free poem off of hypnopoetics that I found on the internet. It's called "touch." send me a message if it works!! thanks!! Touch. Have you ever found yourself Longing for someones touch? Imagined their lips brushing yours as their memory rests so pleasantly in your mind Have you ever felt yourself filled with those feelings So exciting of wanting to touch them and to have your touch returned Because they fit so well in your life, are planted so firmly in that secret place in your heart Because they awaken feelings inside you that you almost forgotten Can you remember that sudden rush of desire when you finally held them, that made you feel so alive, that sent your heart quickly pounding, That makes your breathing come so quickly. If you are aware as I am aware, and as possible as I have learned to be. Perhaps theirs room still left in your heart, an opening in your life for me. |

You find yourself looking and you can't look away and the more that you try the more that gaze stays Riveted here where you want it to be cause you know that there's something you just have to see As you listen so close and you start to wonder what would it feel like to be falling under A spell, mmm so magical being spun by the sound of a voice whose rich warmth was spreading on down Have you ever experienced instantaneous connection? To the point where your thoughts moved in mmmm... Just one direction? People sometimes ask, "Please...just a kiss!" Funny how you find yourself wishing the same wish Your mind is amazing when you really let it go As you find yourseld picturing mmm..you know? As the warmth of that voice takes on a glow Spreading and pulsing where you want it to go I will tell you all you desire... Me...I know.
