I'm not new to the PUA community, however the only thing I know about NLP is from the few pages writtin in 'The Game'.

Can anyone suggest a GREAT book or two about this! It's intriguing enough to give it a shot.

Just PUA related or general NLP Techniques and such ?

If you're going for PUA related; well, Dave Riker's material is supposed to be pretty thorough breakdown of SS techniques, though I haven't really dedicated myself to studying it.

IN10SE and a little by Hypnotica is about all the directly PUA related NLP-material I've poked my nose into.

Hypnotica is mostly Inner Game related, but then again; Inner Game is probably the most important part of the Game, in my opinion.

Other than that it's just about sprinkling a little embedded commands and such at the right areas, which is covered by Hypnotists and NLP-practitioners, and of course, by Jeffries and SS... so then you're back at Ross, and Dave Riker (who has an organized approach to RJ's material.)

If you're going for NLP in general, which is what I'd choose, I'd start with stuff by Bandler... one of his latest , "a Guide to trance-formations", is really good.
Other than that I can recommend getting your hands on diverse books in relation to both the field of NLP and the field of Hypnosis.

Over to another detail; I think there's already a stickied topic on this... ;)

'Introducing NLP' (Joseph O-Connor and Jonh Seymour) is the best over-view of the field in my opinion. If you want a better understanding of speed seduction, then I personally find IN10SE to be the best to translate it for me... Honestly, I think it is in your best interest to find as broad as data collection as possible and find your own way.

NLP is very powerful and enlightening. Whichever path you choose, I hope you find the deeper meaning and depth behind it.

btw, if you want the background thinking that lead to NLP, and don't mind a heavy book.
General Semantics is the way to go.

Definitely "Introducing NLP" as mentioned above. "The hypnotic language patterns of Milton Erickson MD" Volumes 1 & 2 by Bandler/Grinder is great for understanding hypnosis/conversational hypnosis.

Basically you just get an introductory piece and then get the books that cover the parts you want to learn. You are in for a great learning experience man, welcome to the world of Jedi Knights lol.
